The students will also practice basic grammar principles that would normally be learned in the first year of Spanish. (Gender, Masculine and Feminine, Singular and Plural, Definite Articles, Indefinite Articles, Possessive Adjectives, Demonstrative Adjectives, Subject Pronouns and Present Tense Verbs.)  All principles will be focused on helping to learn the targeted vocabulary for each lesson.  Most people will see that by the time they have completed the weekly activities, they will have learned the necessary items in a fun, creative way and that they understand much more of the vocabulary than when they started.

(Look at the explanations for #3, 4, 5 and 6 below to get a better understanding of the 4 different types of lessons.  You will get a variety of methods that I have successfully used with thousands of students over 41 years of teaching!  Look at the feedback that many students have given me over the years!

Length of Course- Minimum of 13 weeks or 3 months.  Every week, the student will receive a lesson that contains a word document that can be used as a study guide or worksheet.  The student will also receive an MP4 recording of me teaching the lesson, giving my examples, personal stories and insights, and making sure that each student has the correct answers and knows how the correct answers were attained. (Each recording of me teaching the lesson is about an hour long. You can pause the video to do every exercise and then I will explain all the answers. Each lesson should take you about an hour and a half to two hours to complete the exercises and have my feedback. You can do this with your own schedule during the week.) If you follow the instructions to the techniques that I will explain to you, you will have success! You will know that you are ready to move on to a higher level when you consistently score in the Intermediate to Advanced levels of the Pretests.  You will then be ready to move on to the higher levels of Spanish by Songs, Spanish by Stories and Spanish by YouTube Videos.  (Look at Lesson types #6, 7, and 8 to understand those levels better. You can stay in Level 1 as long as you need, because every week will have a new lesson with a different Cultural Cognate Story, Targeted Vocabulary List, new Joke, or a new Song.)
